Gareth Miles

Gareth Miles currently serves as the Assistant Vice-Principal and Dean of Science at the University of St Andrews, where responsibilities also include roles as Professor of Neuroscience and Head of the School of Psychology & Neuroscience. With a career at the University of St Andrews starting in January 2007, Gareth has progressed through various academic ranks, holding positions from Lecturer to Reader and Senior Lecturer. Prior to this, Gareth was a Postdoctoral research fellow at Dalhousie University from February 2003 to December 2006. Gareth earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from The University of Auckland between 1999 and 2003, following a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) at the same institution from 1995 to 1998.
