Hideki Nakazono

Hideki Nakazono, PhD, is an experienced academic and administrator currently serving as the Director of Tutoring Services and Writing Center at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences since August 2017. Nakazono has developed and launched various programs, including the Supplemental Instruction program and the Skills for Success presentation series for graduate health sciences students. Previously, Nakazono held the position of Professor and Director at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, where responsibilities included creating the university's Writing Center and managing writing consultants. With a strong background in human resources and a diverse range of roles in educational institutions, Nakazono's academic qualifications include a PhD in Higher Education Administration and an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
