Kathy Hoffman Wood

Kathy Hoffman Wood, PhD, FHFMA, serves as the Interim Assistant Dean and Academic Program Director for the Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Health Sciences at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences since April 2017, focusing on strategic initiatives and educational effectiveness. Wood is also a board member of the North Florida Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and previously co-pastored at the United Church of Christ. As a former Executive Director of the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry, leadership encompassed various health and wellness programs and community engagement initiatives. With extensive experience in healthcare finance and administration, Wood has held roles with the Healthcare Financial Management Association, including advisory and directorship positions. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Health Care Administration and an MBA, along with ongoing doctoral studies.
