Andreas Hein

Andreas Hein is an Assistant Professor of IT-Management at Universität St.Gallen, focusing on how organizations can effectively leverage new technologies for economic success while promoting ecological sustainability and social justice. In addition, Andreas serves as an Early-Career Representative for the AIS Special Interest Group on Digital Sourcing, Platforms, and Ecosystems. Prior to this, Andreas was the Head of the Research Group on Digital Platforms and eGovernment at the Technical University of Munich, where research included significant contributions to the governance of nonprofit platforms. Andreas held positions at IBM Deutschland GmbH as a Senior Strategy Consultant, focusing on enhancing business relationships and automating internal processes. Andreas holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Information Systems, a Master of Science in Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics, all obtained from notable universities in Germany.
