Elsa Massoc currently serves as an Assistant Professor of International Political Economy and Academic Director for the Sciences-Po Paris-Saint Gallen Dual Degree Master Programme in International Affairs at the University of St. Gallen since August 2022. Prior to this role, Elsa was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies of Law and Finance at Goethe University, Frankfurt, from August 2019 to July 2022, focusing on International and Comparative Political Economy. Additional academic experience includes being a Max Weber Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute and an Invited Researcher at the Max Planck Science Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies. Elsa completed a Ph.D. in Comparative Political Economy at UC Berkeley, where also taught various courses as a Graduate Student Instructor. Academic qualifications include multiple degrees from esteemed institutions such as Sciences Po and Université Paris-Sorbonne.
