Vedran Lakic

Vedran Lakic currently serves as a Research Assistant at the University of St.Gallen's Swiss Institute of Banking & Finance, under Prof. Dr. Since April 2022, Vedran has acquired diverse experience in investment banking through a role at Stirling Infrastructure Partners scheduled for March to December 2024, and previously as an intern at Helbling Business Advisors specializing in M&A, corporate finance, and restructuring from February to August 2023. This experience includes valuation analysis, preparation of marketing documentation, and investor identification across various sectors. Prior roles include an internship in transaction banking at Vontobel, research assistance at the Institute of Insurance Economics, and a position as a working student at SIXT, providing operational support and customer service. Vedran's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial and Investment Management from Stellenbosch University. Additionally, Vedran holds a Swiss Matura with a focus on Economics and Law.
