Dr Patrycja Buxton

Dr. Patrycja Buxton is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Stavanger, leading extensive human rights research projects and initiatives under the EEA Norway Grants program. As the owner of Special Ops, Patrycja has consulted on human rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating actionable strategies for high-profile organizations. Co-founder and board member of BalansPL, a foundation dedicated to gender balance, Patrycja has designed and facilitated career workshops for women. Patrycja served as a visiting professor at IÉSEG School of Management and held the position of Strategic Director and Board Member at Wolves Summit, where Patrycja improved female speaker representation significantly. Additionally, Patrycja's earlier experience includes a role as Head of Corporate Relations at a risk management consultancy and a postdoctoral position at the Centre for Women's Studies, University of York. Patrycja holds a Ph.D. in Women's Studies from the University of York, alongside a Master's Degree in Women's Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.
