Damion Corrigan

Damion Corrigan is an accomplished academic and industry leader in biomedical engineering, currently serving as LGC Professor in Measurement Science for Health at the University of Strathclyde since May 2016, while also holding key roles as Chief Scientific Officer at Aureum Diagnostics and Chief Technology Officer at Microplate Dx. Corrigan's career includes positions such as Reader and Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, and previous roles as Post Doctoral Research Fellow and BioChip Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, where contributions focused on electrochemical characterisation and the development of point-of-care diagnostics. Early experience includes postdoctoral research at both the University of Southampton and Cranfield University, with a strong educational background comprising a PhD in Bioanalytical Chemistry from Cranfield University and advanced degrees in Molecular Pharmacology and Cell Biology from The University of Manchester and Durham University, respectively.
