Katrina Forbes

Katrina Forbes is an experienced careers professional with a robust background in higher education and career services. Currently serving as the Head of Careers and Employability at the University of Strathclyde since May 2022, Katrina has previously held leadership roles as Head of Careers at GCU from November 2016 to May 2022 and Deputy Head of Careers at the University of Stirling between September 2013 and November 2016. Early career experience includes positions as a Careers Adviser at the University of Strathclyde and Careers Scotland, as well as development coaching roles at learndirect and the essentia group. Katrina's educational qualifications include a DIPCG in Careers Guidance from Swanley - College of Guidance Studies and a BA Hons in Economic and Social History from the University of Strathclyde.
