Maxim Fedorov serves as the Director of the HPC Centre ARCHIE-WeSt at the University of Strathclyde since October 2011, focusing on research excellence and wealth creation in the West of Scotland. Prior to this role, Maxim Fedorov held positions including Professor in Physics and Life Sciences at the Max Planck Institute MIS from 2007 to 2011, Research Group Leader at the University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2008, Research Associate at University College Dublin from 2004 to 2005, and Postdoctoral Scientist. Maxim Fedorov holds a Doctor of Science degree in Physical Chemistry from the Russian Academy of Sciences and a PhD in Biophysics from the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics, Russian Academy of Sciences, obtained between 1999 and 2002.
