Nick Kelly

Nick Kelly is a seasoned academic and researcher at the University of Strathclyde, holding the position of Reader and Co-director of the Energy Systems Research Unit (ESRU) since January 1999. With extensive experience in energy systems and knowledge exchange, Nick has played pivotal roles including Senior Lecturer, Strathclyde Energy Theme Coordinator, and Associate Director of ESRU. Responsibilities have encompassed developing engagement with industry, leading research projects focused on low-carbon built environments, and enhancing the Department's Knowledge Exchange portfolio. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, alongside earlier research roles at the Building Research Establishment.
