Tracy Morse is a prominent Professor and Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, where Tracy has been since 2005, leading the Centre for Sustainable Development. An environmental health specialist, Tracy has extensive experience in preventive community health research in Malawi since 2000, focusing on water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), food safety, air quality, and community development. As an executive committee member for the Africa Academy for Environmental Health, Tracy oversees a Gender Parity Portfolio aimed at enhancing the capacity of female environmental health academics across Africa. Concurrently, Tracy serves as a consultant in food safety for Malawian food businesses seeking export accreditation and continues to lecture at the University of Malawi. Previous roles include National Coordinator for the SHARE programme, which aimed to improve sanitation and hygiene in low-income settings, and as an Environmental Health Officer for Aberdeenshire Council. Tracy holds a PhD in Environmental Health from the University of Strathclyde.
