Dr. Derek Watson

Dr. Derek Watson has been serving as a Business School Project Leader at the University of Sunderland since August 2000, focusing on obtaining Small Business Charter Accreditation. In addition, Dr. Watson has held various consultancy roles with notable clients including British Telecom, the Indian Government, and Dubai Police. As a representative on the University of Sunderland Academic Board for Enterprise & Innovation, Dr. Watson also contributes as Programmes Director at Integra Training & Consulting. Since July 2018, Dr. Watson has been a Visiting Professor at the Technological University of Panama, specializing in Food Safety Cultural Compliance, and concurrently holds a Senior Consultancy role at Sias International University, impacting their Innovation Hub. Dr. Watson is a Senior Research Fellow at the Cyprus Centre for Business Research and possesses a professional doctorate, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Sunderland in fields related to professional development and business education.
