Christian Heiss

Christian Heiss is a prominent academic and clinical leader in the field of cardiovascular medicine, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine and as a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Surrey since March 2018. In addition, Christian Heiss holds the position of Honorary Consultant in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. Prior to these roles, Christian Heiss was the Consultant and Head of Vascular Medicine at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf from April 2011 to February 2018, and completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine from October 2004 to September 2007. Christian Heiss obtained a degree from the University of Düsseldorf, completing studies between February 1995 and December 2001.
