Claire Rhodes

Claire Rhodes serves as an Associate Professor in Criminology and Forensics at the University of Surrey since March 2023, where Claire oversees the BSc (Hons) Criminology and Forensic Investigation programme. With a long-standing career at the University of Portsmouth since December 2010, Claire has held various roles including Associate Head Academic, Principal Lecturer, and Associate Dean Academic, while also leading undergraduate programmes in Integrated Crime and Justice Studies. Previous experience includes serving as a Scenes of Crime Officer for Surrey Police from June 2006 to December 2010. Claire Rhodes holds a Ph.D. in Firearms Investigation and multiple degrees from the University of Portsmouth, Durham University, and Teesside University, showcasing a strong academic background in criminology and forensic science.
