Dr. Emily Corrigan-Kavanagh is an accomplished researcher and academic currently serving as a Future Surrey Fellow at the University of Surrey, where Dr Emily is establishing the interdisciplinary field of "Designing AI for Home Wellbeing." Dr. Corrigan-Kavanagh has spearheaded initiatives related to people-centred AI and has secured funding for various research projects, including a Commercialisation Fellowship. Previously, Dr. Corrigan-Kavanagh held positions as a Lecturer in Graphic Communication and as a PhD researcher focused on design for wellbeing at Loughborough University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Creative Design Methods, an MA in Design: Critical Practice, and a BA in Visual Communication, along with certifications in art therapy and higher education teaching.
