Jon Ward

Jon Ward is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the higher education and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at the University of Portsmouth since September 2020, Jon previously held positions including Director of IT at Bournemouth University and Associate Director of IT at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Jon's earlier career includes roles such as Head of IT at UK Transplant and IT Manager at the University of the West of England. Educationally, Jon has a Postgraduate Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from The Open University.
