Kristin M. Braun

Kristin M. Braun is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in biomedical education and research. Currently serving as a Professor and Director of Student Support and Professional Development at the University of Surrey since February 2024, Kristin previously held various significant roles at Queen Mary University of London, including Professor in Biomedical Education, Joint Programme Director of the MSc Regenerative Medicine, and Head of Graduate Entry Medicine. Prior to that, Kristin was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cancer Research UK, where the focus of research centered on the characterization of the epidermal stem cell compartment. Kristin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology and German, with a minor in Chemistry, from Bradley University.
