Paul Krause

Paul Krause is an accomplished academic and consultant with extensive experience in the fields of data science, software engineering, and complex systems. Currently serving as Editor in Chief for the Journal of Environmental Communications and a Research and Development Consultant at Mayfly Analytics, Paul also holds multiple esteemed positions at the University of Surrey, including Fellow of the Surrey Institute for People-Centred AI, Emeritus Professor, and Visiting Professor. With a focus on interdisciplinary research involving machine learning and complex adaptive systems, Paul has contributed to significant projects like ERIE and MILES, and has published work as Editor for The Journal of Engineering. Paul’s educational background includes a PhD in Physics and a BSc in Pure Maths and Physics, both from the University of Exeter.
