Clionadh Raleigh is the founder, president, and CEO of the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), a position held since January 2010. In addition to this role, Raleigh serves as a Professor of Political Violence and Geography at the University of Sussex since 2013. Previous academic experience includes serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of Texas at Austin's LBJ School of Public Policy from 2012 to 2013, and as an Associate Professor in Geography and Lecturer in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin from 2008 to 2013. Raleigh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
