Keith Jones is a prominent academic currently serving as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research & Innovation and Interim Provost at the University of Sussex since September 2020. With a distinguished career in academia, Keith has held the position of Honorary Professor in Zoology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences since August 2008, and served as Editor-In-Chief for Molecular Human Reproduction at the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology from January 2019 to May 2021. Previous roles include Executive Dean at the University of Adelaide (2018-2020) and Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Southampton (2013-2020), where Keith also served as Head of the School of Biological Sciences. Keith has extensive experience in reproductive physiology, having been a Professor at both the University of Newcastle and Newcastle University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell Physiology from the University of Liverpool and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
