Kevin Bacon

Kevin Bacon currently serves as the Collections Senior Manager at the University of Sussex since July 2023. Previously, Kevin held positions at Brighton & Hove Museums, where roles included Head of Digital and Digital Manager from November 2016 to July 2023. In addition, Kevin was an Hourly Paid Lecturer at the University of Brighton from February 2018 to May 2023, focusing on digital engagement and collection management for the MA in Curating Collections & Heritage. Prior experience includes serving as Digital Development Officer and Curator of Photographs at the Royal Pavilion and Museums, Brighton & Hove, where Kevin curated notable exhibitions and led digital activities. Kevin’s education includes an MA in Digital Media from the University of Sussex, an MA in Political Philosophy from the University of York, and a BA in Politics from the University of Leicester.
