Laila El Baradei

Laila El Baradei currently serves as the General Counsel and Director of Governance and Compliance at the University of Sussex since March 2023. Previously, Laila El Baradei held various legal positions at Plan International from March 2013 to March 2023, culminating in the role of General Counsel, with earlier positions including Deputy General Counsel and Director of Legal, as well as Associate General Counsel and Legal Counsel. Laila El Baradei earned a Master of Science in Development Studies from SOAS University of London, a Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Laws from The London School of Economics.
