Steve Law

Steve Law has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Steve most recently served as the Deputy Director of Finance at the University of Sussex from June 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Financial Operations at King's College London from May 2018 to June 2019. In 2018, they worked as a Financial Consultant at Trenchard Aviation Group from February to April.

From 2017 to 2017, Steve served as the Financial Director at Palmer and Harvey, followed by roles as Group Financial Controller from 2014 to 2017, and Financial Controller from 2008 to 2014.

Steve began their career as a Lecturer at BPP Professional Education from 2006 to 2008, and previously held roles at Tesco as a Financial Controller - International Operations Development from 2005 to 2007, and at Virgin Atlantic in various finance positions from 1993 to 2005. Steve also worked as an Internal Auditor at Hughes Aircraft Company from 1991 to 1993.

Steve Law completed their Bachelor of Divinity (BD) in Religion/Religious Studies at the University of London from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained their Associate Member of Corporate Treasury (AMCT) in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers between 2014 and 2016. Steve also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Kingston University, earned from 1996 to 1998. Furthermore, they achieved the Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) (CGMA) designation in Accounting and Business/Management from CIMA during the period of 1992 to 1994.
