Kerry Holling

Kerry Holling is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in higher education and public service. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Information Officer at the University of Sydney since July 2025 and an Independent Consultant at Holling Advisory since March 2023, Kerry provides advisory services focused on higher education technology. Previous roles include Interim Deputy CIO at UNSW from May 2023 to November 2023 and Chief Information and Digital Officer at Western Sydney University from July 2011 to July 2022, where oversight involved managing a $75 million IT and Digital Services budget across multiple campuses. Kerry's earlier experience includes serving as CIO for the Department of Family and Community Services NSW, managing a significant workforce and budget. Kerry holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury.
