Professor Lisa Jackson Pulver is a proud Aboriginal woman with connections to communities in south-western NSW, South Australia and beyond. She was most recently the inaugural Pro Vice-Chancellor Engagement, Pro Vice-Chancellor Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership, and Provost (Parramatta South) at Western Sydney University. Before then she played a key role in the development of a designated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Unit within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. She was also the inaugural Chair of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health at UNSW and Director of the Muru Marri Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Unit and Professor of Public Health.
