Tammy Loper

Tammy Clark is the Vice President, Information Technology and Security at University of Tampa. Tammy has over 20 years of experience in the IT field, with a focus on security. Tammy previously worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at GSU from April 2000 to September 2012. During their time at GSU, they were responsible for the security, privacy, policy, and protection of information, technology and communication resources used by the university. Tammy standardized the information security program against ISO/IEC 27001 and achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2008 certification of the information security program from 2008-2012. Tammy also designed and managed a robust security architecture that provided end to end security from the network perimeter down to endpoints on the network. In addition, they developed and delivered security awareness programs for diverse groups of constituents. Tammy is recognized for their knowledge and contributions to the field of information security by multiple organizations.

Tammy Clark has a Master's Degree in Information Systems and Technology Management from Capella University. Tammy also has a B.S. in Accounting/Management Information Systems from California State University-San Bernardino. Tammy is certified by ISACA as a Certified Data Privacy Security Engineer (CDPSE), by Palo Alto Networks as an Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE), by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and by BSI as an ISO 27001 Lead Consultant/Auditor. Tammy is also certified by ISACA as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and by (ISC)² as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Tammy Clark reports to Ronald L. Vaughn, President. They are on a team with Stephanie Russell Krebs - Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, Student Affairs, Kevin Lafferty - Vice President, Administration and Finance, and Dennis Nostrand - Vice President, Enrollment.
