Nicholas Farrelly serves as the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Campus Life at the University of Tasmania and as a Professor and Head of Social Sciences since January 2020. Farrelly is a Board Member for NAATI and the Australia-ASEAN Council under the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Additionally, since October 2020, Farrelly has been a Partner at Lydekker. Prior to these roles, Farrelly held several positions at the ANU College of Asia & the Pacific, including Associate Dean for Development and Impact and Deputy Director for Impact and Engagement from 2009 to January 2020. Farrelly holds a Bachelor of Asian Studies (Honours) from The Australian National University, and an M.Phil and D.Phil from the University of Oxford. Farrelly also completed the Graduate, Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
