Fiona Cosson

Fiona Cosson currently serves as the Head of School of Social Sciences at the University of Bradford, a position held since November 2023. Additionally, Fiona Cosson is an External Examiner for the BA History program at Nottingham Trent University since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Fiona Cosson was the Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Anglia Ruskin University from September 2021 to November 2023 and held various academic positions at Bournemouth University from October 2016 to August 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Manchester Metropolitan University and working as a freelance consultant for notable organizations such as the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the National Trust. Fiona Cosson holds a PhD in Modern British History from the University of Northampton, along with an MA in Race and Resistance and a BA in History from the University of Leeds, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education Practice from Bournemouth University.
