Debra Anderson

Dean, Faculty of Health at University of Technology Sydney

Debra Anderson serves as the Dean at the University of Technology Sydney since December 2019, previously holding roles as Acting Dean and Associate Dean (Research). Additionally, Debra is a Guest Professor at the Health Science Centre and a Visiting Professor at King's College London. Debra founded and directs the Women's Wellness Research Group at Menzies Health Institute Queensland and was Head of School and Professor at Griffith University's School of Nursing and Midwifery until December 2019. Prior experience includes positions at Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University. Debra's educational background includes a PhD in Social and Preventive Medicine from The University of Queensland, a Master of Nursing from Flinders University, and a range of other nursing and education qualifications.
