M. Nduna

Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences at University of Fort Hare

M. Nduna is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at University of Fort Hare. Previously, they were an Associate Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand from July 2006 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for teaching and research supervision. From August 2003 to December 2005, Nduna worked as a Project Manager at Population Council. In this role, they conducted operations research into the Integration of HIV counseling and testing into Family Planning services at primary health care clinics. Nduna also worked as a Senior Scientist at the South African Medical Research Council from January 2001 to August 2003, where they were responsible for research and training in sexual and repoductive health, HIV prevention, and gender-based violence. M. has also worked as a Lecturer from May 2020 to December 2021, where they were responsible for SRHR, GBV, Gender, gender equity, and Social Cohesion training, facilitation, and research. Finally, Nduna also served as a Project Manager at Planned Parenthood Association of South Africa from July 1998 to December 1999.

M. Nduna reports to Sakhela Buhlungu, Vice-Chancellor and Principal. M. Nduna works with M. Njotini - Dean, Faculty of Law, G. Bradley - Dean, Faculty of Science & Agriculture.
