Tania Bezzobs has a diverse work experience in research management and development. Tania currently holds the position of Director of Research Office at the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to that, they served as the President and Board Member of the Australasian Research Management Society. Tania was also the Director of Research Services and Executive Director of the Research Office at Swinburne University of Technology, where they provided operational leadership and strategic support for research. Tania has had roles at various other institutions including the University of Melbourne, where they served as a Principal Advisor and Director of Research Development & Collaboration, and at Deakin University, where they worked as a Manager of Strategic Research & Development and as a Business and Research Development Manager. Tania Bezzobs has a Bachelor's Degree in Science, which they obtained from the University of Adelaide in 1988. Tania then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Zoology/Animal Biology at Monash University from 1990 to 1995. Following that, Tania completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Melbourne from 1998 to 2000, focusing on Technology and Management, Economics and Strategy, Finance, Innovation, General Management, and Marketing. Tania later pursued a Master of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Melbourne from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Tania completed the Company Directors' Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2003.
