David Chua

David Chua serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board at the University of the East since August 2019 and is a member of the Board of Directors at First Philippine Holdings Corporation and Manila House Private Club, Inc. since June 2021 and June 2018, respectively. As President of Cathay Pacific Steel Corporation (CAPASCO) since 1990, David Chua also contributes as a member of the Board of Advisors at Metrobank and as a Board Member at Dizon Copper-Silver Mines Inc. David Chua's past leadership roles include serving as a Board Member for The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. and Lincoln Electric. Educational credentials include an MBA from both Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services Management with honors from Saint Mary's College of California. David Chua also participated in Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
