Liana Thompson

Liana Thompson has extensive experience in academic management and education, serving in various leadership roles at the University of the Fraser Valley since September 2008, including Executive Director of Student Academic Affairs and Director of Centre for Experiential and Career Education. Prior to this, Liana worked as a Research and Relations Officer for the Canadian Red Cross from August 2011 to June 2013 and held a position in Community Recreation with the Township of Langley for 17 years. Liana's educational credentials include a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, a Provincial Instructor Diploma from Vancouver Community College, a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music from The University of British Columbia, and initial studies in Music at Trinity Western University.
