Mike Teigen has over 25 years of work experience, with a strong background in web development, digital strategy, and marketing. Mike is currently the Director of Marketing at the University of the Fraser Valley, where they lead marketing initiatives. Prior to this, Mike was the Associate Director of Digital Strategy and Engagement at the same university. Mike has also worked as a Manager of Web and Digital Marketing at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and held various roles at Trinity Western University, including Director of Digital & Media Services and Interim Director of Marketing and Communications. Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Manager of Web Development at Capilano University and as a Web Developer at the Township of Langley. Mike started their career as a Lead Web Developer/Designer at Stratabase Inc. and worked as an Inside Sales Representative at WINROC a division of Superior Plus LP. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in website development, digital advertising, social media management, and team leadership.
From 1997 to 1999, Mike Teigen attended the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound in Burnaby, where they earned a Webmasters Certificate. Mike'sfield of study focused on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design.
