Melissa Yamanaka

Melissa Yamanaka is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational outreach, diversity, and student engagement. Since November 2017, Melissa has held various roles at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, including Director of Diversity and Student Engagement, Diversity and Outreach Manager, and Academic Coordinator, where responsibilities included providing academic support and event planning. Prior experience includes serving as a Programs Associate at MTAC, managing administrative support for the Certificate of Merit Program, and coordinating outreach efforts at Hawai'i Community College as Outreach & Program Specialist. Melissa's educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Hawai‘i System and a Master's degree in International and Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco, among other credentials.
