Johnathan McCaskill

Johnathan McCaskill is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in academia and practice. Serving as an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the General Studies-General Education Program at Temple University Japan since May 2018, Johnathan develops course materials across various legal topics. As Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer of SIVENTH, Johnathan addresses corporate social responsibility and mentorship for underserved communities. Additional roles include Foreign Lawyer at Yakumo Law Office, Mediator at the Japan International Mediation Center, Lecturer at Hitotsubashi University, and Visiting Lecturer at the University of the Philippines. With a background that includes senior legal positions in international organizations and significant contributions to legal consultancy, Johnathan holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
