Kate Reed

Kate Reed is an experienced higher education professional, currently serving as the Director for Data and Operations in Career Readiness and Student Success at The University of the South since August 2013. Reed has held various roles at this institution, including Associate Director of the Sewanee Career Center and Director of Residential Life. Prior experience includes positions at Vanderbilt University as an Area Coordinator and Head Resident in The Commons, as well as earlier roles such as Admissions Summer Graduate Intern at The University of the South, Development Research Analyst at Trinity College - Hartford, Substitute English Teacher at Weaver High School, and Head Assistant Proctor at The University of the South. Reed holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from The University of the South.
