Alexander Eagles, MD, PhD, DPT, BMedSt, BSc, is currently serving as a Paediatrics PHO and Orthopaedic SHO at Queensland Health since February 2022. With a strong background in physiotherapy, Alexander has held various roles, including Physiotherapist at multiple clinics and as Practice Manager & Senior Physiotherapist at Physio Inq. Additionally, Alexander has experience in sports physiotherapy, providing services to the Sunshine Coast Stingrays and Queensland Reds rugby teams. Academically, Alexander holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Bachelor of Medical Studies from Bond University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Sciences from the University of the Sunshine Coast, and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University, further complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Since January 2015, Alexander has also contributed as a Research Assistant and Guest Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
