Anthony Fraser

Anthony Fraser currently serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Strategy at the University of the Sunshine Coast, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Anthony held the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor for Indigenous Strategy and Leadership at the University of New England from January 2022 to August 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Walanga Muru at Macquarie University, and as Director of Kaho'iwai Center for Adult Teaching and Learning at Kanu o ka Aina Learning Ohana, where responsibilities encompassed program creation and policy development. Anthony was also Pro Vice-Chancellor at Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education and Head of School at the University of Newcastle. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Adult Education from the University of Technology Sydney and a PhD in Indigenous Perspectives from the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education.
