Dawn Birch

Dawn Birch is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Deputy Head (Learning and Teaching) and Associate Professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast since May 2017. Birch has been a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Bournemouth University from 2012 to the present and previously held the same position at the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2010 to 2012, as well as at the University of Southern Queensland from 1991 to 2010. Birch's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Online Education from Queensland University of Technology obtained between 2005 and 2008, along with master's degrees in International Marketing and Tertiary and Further Education, as well as a Bachelor of Business with distinction in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the University of Southern Queensland.
