Erica Mealy

Erica Mealy is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast, with experience spanning over a decade in academia and the ICT industry. In addition to various teaching roles, Erica has served as the ICT industry Placement and Work Experience Coordinator, and has been an active member of committees related to computer science and research engagement. Prior positions include Board Member at Electronic Frontiers Australia, Associate Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology, and Post-Doctoral Research Associate at NICTA. Erica's industry experience includes roles at Oracle, Ansaldo STS, and Sun Microsystems, where responsibilities encompassed managing research teams and developing critical software tools. Erica holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Information Technology with Honours from the University of Queensland.
