Michele Sternberg

Michele Sternberg is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently serving as a Teaching Professional in Journalism and Strategic Communications at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Michele also holds the position of Corporate Communications Manager at Visit Sunshine Coast and is actively involved in the Sunshine Coast 2032 Comms Committee, which aims to foster partnerships in preparation for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With a dynamic background that includes roles as Editor in Chief at Sternberg Creative and Editor at Noosa News, Michele has a proven track record in multi-modal media strategies and editorial leadership. Previous positions include roles at Sunshine Coast Daily, Gold Coast Bulletin, Western Mail, and The Chronicle, complemented by a strong academic foundation including a Master's degree from the University of the Sunshine Coast and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Southern Queensland.
