Omer Yezdani

Omer Yezdani is an experienced leader in data management and strategic planning, currently serving as Chief Data Officer at the University of the Sunshine Coast since August 2022. In this role, Omer provides strategic oversight for a wide range of initiatives, including analytics, AI, data governance, and business intelligence. Additionally, Omer holds a position as a Board Member at Southern Cross Care Queensland, overseeing governance and corporate performance across a significant portfolio of aged care services. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Director of Planning and Strategic Management at Australian Catholic University and various roles related to educational program management at the Australian Government Department of Education and other institutions. Omer's academic qualifications include a PhD in Complex Systems and an MBA, complemented by completion of the Company Directors Course.
