David Johnston

David Johnston has extensive experience in ICT management, currently serving as Assistant Director ICT Support at the University of The West of Scotland since April 2008, where responsibilities include budget management and leadership of a diverse ICT support team. Previously, David held roles at Bell College, culminating in IT Manager, overseeing the college's ICT budget and advising on strategic development. David's career began in technical roles at National Semiconductor and GEC Ferranti. David possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland and Stow College Glasgow.
