Dr Emma Reid

Dr. Emma Reid currently serves as the Lead Postgraduate Research Coordinator in the School of Business & Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland, a position held since January 2021. In this role, Dr. Reid manages applications for postgraduate research students, organizes doctoral training workshops, provides pastoral care, and represents the School at the University level, alongside leading a review of the UWS Research Degree Regulations. Additionally, Dr. Reid was the Programme Leader for the MSc Digital Marketing, successfully navigating the programme through significant challenges, and has taught various marketing-related modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Previous experience includes roles at the University of Strathclyde and Disruptive Insight, where Dr. Reid developed marketing insights and conducted research. Dr. Reid holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde and has further qualifications in Digital Marketing and Academic Practice.
