Gavin Lee

Gavin Lee is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, policy development, and higher education quality assurance. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Planning and Development at the University of the West of Scotland since 2021, Gavin previously held the position of Head of Strategic Planning and has contributed to enhancing access and social mobility in higher education. With a consultancy role as an ELIR Peer Reviewer for the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, Gavin has reviewed several institutions and facilitated effective communications between review teams and institutions. Prior roles include Head of Policy and Planning at the University of Stirling and leadership positions at Your Voice Scotland and Universities Scotland. Gavin holds an LLB in Law from the University of Glasgow.
