Jonathan Tsoka

Jonathan Tsoka is a comprehensive professional with extensive experience in engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as a Short Term Consultant in Manufacturing, Agribusiness, and Services Advisory at the International Finance Corporation since October 2021, Jonathan also operates as a self-employed GIS and Water Resources Management Consultant and holds the position of Geospatial Data Scientist at the Wits Diagnostic Innovation Hub. Previous roles include Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Engineer at the Department of Irrigation from July 2008 to November 2016. Jonathan Tsoka is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand, where previously a Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing was obtained. Additional qualifications include a Master of Science in Hydraulic Engineering from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and a BSc. Honours in Land and Water Resources Management from Midlands State University.
