Vesna Micic has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Vesna started their career as a Sales Coordinator at Canadian Manda Group from 1997 to 2001. Vesna then transitioned to the CAMH Foundation, where they worked as a Research Coordinator from 2003 to 2005. In 2004, they joined Penguin Books as a Sales Coordinator and later took on roles as a Senior Marketing Associate and Marketing Manager until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Penguin Random House as a Senior Marketing Manager, leading marketing efforts for international and agency client publications. Currently, Vesna is employed at the University of Toronto Press, where they have been serving as the Sales and Marketing Manager, Journals since 2017. In May 2022, they were promoted to the role of Associate Director, Sales and Marketing.
Vesna Micic holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Belgrade. In addition, Vesna has obtained certifications in Digital Marketing Management from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and has attended a Publishing Workshop at Simon Fraser University.
