Kishon Thaveswaran

Kishon Thaveswaran, MMT, is an experienced mathematics instructor currently affiliated with the University of Toronto Schools since September 2023. Prior to this role, Kishon served as a secondary teacher at the Toronto District School Board since August 2018, teaching courses in Guidance and Career Education as well as Family Studies. Notable previous positions include serving as an MCAT General Chemistry Instructor at Prep101 and as a laboratory and tutorial teaching assistant at the University of Toronto, where Kishon received the UTSC Undergraduate TA Award in 2017. Kishon holds a Master of Mathematics for Teachers from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, along with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
